Dear Friends and Fans,
Well this week has been challenging to say the least. My PaPa came back from the hospital and on Monday evening he fell asleep in his lazy boy forever. He was my #1 fan. He loved my bodybuilding. My pictures hung all over his home. My cousin says it's like a shrine..lol. PaPa would love for me to walk ahead of him so he could see peoples reactions to me. He loved it. He would walk up to anyone and say " that's my granddaughter." At 80 years old, PaPa drove all the way from Florida to Missouri to watch me graduate from Logan Chiropractic College. It relieves me to no end that a hard life lead to a peaceful death. One thing I KNOW is that both NaNa and PaPa left thinking I was the best thing in the world and that warm comfort will always be there. PaPa was 85 years old.
So, I'm 1 week out of the NY pro show. I very pleased with my look thus far. I look my best yet. Big, hard, full. I was still 145 yesterday AM. I haven't weighed yet today. I don't see any reason I shouldn't be able to show at 142. I really cut back on the patient load this last week. I have so much little prep things to do that really go unnoticed. Here is how I'm planning things out... Today, Saturday, Patty and I are going accessory shopping. A couple of things on the list are purse, ear rings, hair product, make up. Monday is manicure/pedicure and shave my entire body.. fun!@#%. Tuesday is hair day. I hate hair day. I'm way too hyper to sit in that damn chair so long. It drives me crazy, and by Tue... AHHH I'll be crazy! LOL. I may apply 1 coat of color Tue nite. I have to talk to Wendi my color specialist, but Wednesday is 2 coats of color, Thursday 2 coats of color. My plane leaves 6am on Friday. On top of all of this.. I have to prep and pack necessary foods, pack clothes and everything for show, with out missing a thing. Now Keep in mind.. this is in addition to cardio, posing, and some pump up. By this time I probably look like and slug dragging 2 large suite cases and a cooler. But, all I have to do is make it that far... Joel will be at the airport with curb sided service and the ROCK STAR style begins.. LOL I'm just playing, but not. I have good people on my team that are there to cater to me. It's very nice. I don't take advantage though.. I appreciate you all.
I wanted to put a picture of me a PaPa here with this blog.. but I will put one up with a blog when I get color on this week. Have a great weekend!
Your Pro,
Dr. Dena

I loved your Grandpa! I'm sorry Dena. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
I had so much fun with your Papa when I met him when he came to visit. He was such a wonderful man and full of life. He was also without a doubt your BIGGEST FAN. He smiled from ear to ear with pride and love when he was around you.
thank you cassie. He had a lot of fun with you. Thank you for helping with him. xo
Hey Dena, sorry about the loss of your GPa. I knew Steve when he lived in Pinellas Park (behind your Great GPa,John Beck). He created custom furniture that was the talk of the neighborhood! Kind of looked like the Scandanavian style that is in vogue today. We will all miss him.
I saw the documentary on WE tv entitled Amazon Women, and was both impressed and inspired with your Bio. I hope that Steve was able to view it, I know that Gail recorded it for him.
Well, keep up the good work we are proud of you and your celebrity, and thanx for the enlightment about female body builders.
If you ever get to Oregon, I'll take one of those massages.
Sincerely, Joyce B.
Condolences to you and your family, Dena.
