Burning Bushes

Dear Freinds and Fans,

It's been a couple of beautiful weeks here in the STL. I love the colors.... especially the reds and deep purples. Soon, all of the leaves will be gone. Right now I'm on round 2 of watching City of Angels with Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage. I love both of them and the movie is great. I'll have to drag my sound track out of this movie.

Last weekend was Halloween and I had a blast at a friends house. The pix here is with my friend Angela Kirkland, an NPC National Figure Competitor. I of course was supergirl...

I submitted my profile for the Arnold, so we will have to wait till the 3rd week in Dec to find out who has been chosen. Thanksgiving will be my starting point. I'm in pretty good shape right now, so I don't feel like I have a lot of weight to give up. I'll see how the first 8 weeks go and adjust from there. Once i start a little cardio I'm sure things will respond quickly. I need to stay as full as possible while I diet....LOL I guess that is every ones plan. Cross your fingers the committee picks me as an athlete to represent.FBB

I don't really have much to say except to thank you over again for your support. I'm doing what I can to be the best at all I do. Keep pushing me to be a champion.

Your Pro,

Dr.Dena

Dear Dr. "Sexy",
I wrote my whole blog but was not a memeber so therefore after resgistering, it was deleted.
I want to know what motivates you? I am a 44 year old mother of 4 and have never found a 'purpose' in life and after watching you on WE TV I have become inspired. Although my husband is in the military and would entirely be 'out of sorts' if I were "stronger" then him, I would love to commit to something, follow through, and see results for once in my harsh life. What is your daily routine and what gets you going every day??? I love the fact you can be alone, be with MaryJane and not need a 'man' in your life. I am the extreme opposite. I need the security because I do not have that with in myself.
Words of encourgement please!

Dr. Westerfield,

I watched your story on WE and it touched my heart. It takes alot of hard work an dedication to accomplish what you have accomplished. And, you should be very proud because alot of women don't have the strength and independence you do. In fact women should learn from you how to take control of their life and make it work. You are an inspriration and a role model for women, young and old. It makes me happy as person to see your story and how you suceed. I wish you all the best
