Happy Holidays!! XOXOX

Dear Friends and Fans,

I haven't blogged since Halloween, so I thought I would just say "Happy Holidays" and cover the next couple of months... LOL.. Well I have been in Florida the past week. I went down to see my family. It was a little Xmas present to myself. I had a wonderful time. I'm still able to appreciate them for what they offer. I spent a day in the Vinoy Park with my neice and nephew. It was Xmas in the park Florida style... LOL a fake snow machine pumping out ice for the kids to play in as it quickly melted in the Florida sun. I happened to run into 2 of my old school friends. They actually recognized me. I was wondering how they knew it was me.. they all said I look exactly the same... just a little bigger.. LOL. I did sport 110 pounds in High School. Hi to Jake, Mary, Marty and of course Erica for bringing meaning to my trip in each of your own individual ways. My little sissy and I jammed to the 80's all week and had so much fun. We shared a room for a long time as children... nothing changed.. we just had a blast. We went out boating on Monday. The picture I have here is from that day. Thank you to the captain and friend Jack for the great day. We ate at Sea Hags on Treasure Island. I saw my friend Tracey was tending bar; She always makes it fun. I ran into my good friend Joe Nuzzo. Everyone knows Joe. He is the owner of Suncoast Surf Shop on Treasure Island. He's like best friends with Jimmy Buffett.. REALLY!!..

Topped my last day off with a little of mom time. Although I had seen her plenty before Wednesday, we chilled on Wednesaday and listened to the Bee Gee's. It was so cute just to watch her dance around to her music. I can see where I get it..LOL.. Okay... back to reality! December 12th was the cut off for the Arnold Classic applications. I hear that we should know by December 22nd. I'm really in the best position yet. I don't want to take this time for granted... but I'm about 4 weeks out right now weighing 150. My goal is to keep my legs as full as possible. 12 weeks from the show right now makes me a bit worried that I may get stringy. Dave has me pumping out 65 minutes of cardio a day on a 4x/week protein veggie diet.... so I have to just ride the line for a bit and not overdo it. The Arnold will be the 3rd open class I've been in. The first was the 2006 Europa, where I placed 2nd and qualified for the Ms. Olympia. I'm looking forward to hopefully being invited to the show and being able to come in at my best and not worry about my weight. I can honestly say that I have never looked this good. My sister even said something was different about my body. She noticed my calfs and said that my body just looks sexy!!! She is no one with an eye or understands the sport so for those particular words to come out of her mouth... I must look good... I'm not cocky... just really looking forward to seeing my maturity!!!

I would like to thank my continuous fans that have shown their support through site memberships. Hello to all my new fans that discovered me through WeTV. I appreciate all of you. I'm still striving to be my best.... in every aspect...!

Burning Bushes

Dear Freinds and Fans,

It's been a couple of beautiful weeks here in the STL. I love the colors.... especially the reds and deep purples. Soon, all of the leaves will be gone. Right now I'm on round 2 of watching City of Angels with Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage. I love both of them and the movie is great. I'll have to drag my sound track out of this movie.

Last weekend was Halloween and I had a blast at a friends house. The pix here is with my friend Angela Kirkland, an NPC National Figure Competitor. I of course was supergirl...

I submitted my profile for the Arnold, so we will have to wait till the 3rd week in Dec to find out who has been chosen. Thanksgiving will be my starting point. I'm in pretty good shape right now, so I don't feel like I have a lot of weight to give up. I'll see how the first 8 weeks go and adjust from there. Once i start a little cardio I'm sure things will respond quickly. I need to stay as full as possible while I diet....LOL I guess that is every ones plan. Cross your fingers the committee picks me as an athlete to represent.FBB

I don't really have much to say except to thank you over again for your support. I'm doing what I can to be the best at all I do. Keep pushing me to be a champion.

The Leaves Are Changing

Dear Friends and Fans,

I know its been a couple of weeks. I spent the past 2 weekends in seminars so this was my first weekend somewhat free. The title seems to fit perfectly with what has happened over the past couple of weeks. It's like I hit the pinata dead center and everything I've been working on is pouring out. It's a good thing.. everyone wants to pick up what the pinata leaves behind. I'm bringing my billing back in house and working with a new person which is going to get me right where I need to be to understand the business and grow. I'm developing a Post Grad seminar teaching practitioners how to communicate health and fitness to their patients. I have gotten some interested parties which has encouraged me to get it together.

I hope to finish up my portfolio for the Arnold Classic soon. I hear there are going to be a lot of people applying. My weight is slowly climbing. I really don't need to be real heavy at the rate I'm going now... I'll only have to bust it out for like 8 weeks. I have managed to stay super lean and hard with making significant changes where needed.

Maryjane and I are enjoying the weather. It's just beautiful here in the STL area. Although her gait is off, Maryjane's knees seem to be doing better. I've cut back her exercise and rough house play, but once around the block seems to fit her fancy. She loves to play in the snow.... lol can't wait to take a pix of her with snow on her face.

So, it's all business as usual. The gym is part of that business. I'm still training legs 3 times a week. It seems to be working well. I hope you all enjoy the season change. I'm still getting use to this being a Florida girl. I hear the colors should be mind blowing because of all the rain we had. I'm definitely looking forward to that.

Thank you all for your support. Special thank you to John Napfliotis for the great pix!

Kicking Into Gear!

Dear Friends and Fans,

Yes.. OMG it's a blog. I'm sorry for being gone so long. To tell you the truth it just gets hard to keep up with everything. I appreciate your continued support and understanding. I've been juggling staying motivated with so many things. It's much easier to motivate others than yourself. It takes even more discipline, or it gets harder as life becomes more complex. I've managed to get myself on a schedule of some type. I'm waking at 150 lb and pleased with that. My physique has defiantly made improvements although the scale has not changed much. I see detail in my legs, triceps and calfs that I haven't seen in the past. I have a daily routine that consists of the following:

225 sit ups

2 set of pull ups

2 sets of push ups

2 sets of calfs

2 sets of leg magic

My training schedule seems to fit in perfect with the daily stuff. I still want to really put emphasis on my legs with out over training them. Here is my schedule:

Mon- back/chest

Tue- legs/shoulders

Wed- rest

Thur-legs/ tris

Fri/Sat- rest

Sun- legs/ bis

I like this workout because my back, chest and legs get stimulated everyday. Well really, all my muscles get slightly stimulated daily. I've been trying to keep my thickness in the chest and back up with out letting it off set my legs further.

I do have some new plans for the website.. it's just getting everyone on the same page with it. I hope shortly.

Business is good, Maryjane is getting around well most of the time, my physique is improving, I have my health... I couldn't ask for more....

Not sure if you all have checked out any of the Species products (www.speciesnutriton.com ), but I've incorporated the Omegalyze and Fiberlyze into my diet and I feel like it really kept my physique tight. Check it out! I hope you all had a great summer. It's time for me to "Kick It Into Gear!"

A Boost of Energy!!!!

Dear Friends and Fans,

Well I've been having a lot going on. I'm getting some direction with my business. I finally jumped into a larger body of water. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with the rest of this year.

I finally broke down and took Maryjane to the doctor. He says that she has blown both of her ACL's and has significant arthritis in both medial knees. She still gets around fairly well. She is up and down the steps, and played all weekend at my BF's ( Patty) pool. A bit sore after that but, considering the issue; she is hanging in there. Ligament surgery is not recommended because of her size and the arthritis that is already there. The suggested surgery is $1900 per knee. They would only do 1 knee at a time with significant recovery period. I figured this would take at least 1.5 yrs off her life and cause struggle and pain. She is 7 with a life span of 10-12 yrs. I have choosen to let life take its course. I have some anti-inflamatories to use as needed. I got her weight down to 68 lbs from 75, and I'm realizing her limitations and working within them. Just like we all should do. As you age you just can't do what you use to.... get over it and be the best you can at that this time! I know there will be a time soon (1-2yrs) that Maryjane will not be able to get upstairs to sleep with me, or down stairs to watch me train. I hope at this point she will except my help because right now she wants to do everything on her own!! LOL... just like her mommy. When her quailty of life is comproimised; I will make a decision.

I'm excited to say that I'm working back towards the "Jumbo Palumbo Diet" http://www.davepalumbo.com/ . I topped 152 this week. I've been having a bit of trouble with my weight being low. It's me being a lazy eater. Dave told me to nail down a couple extra shakes if you don't want to eat , something is better than nothing. I believe this is what helped me get the weight up. Not sure if you guys have been checking out the http://www.speciesnutrition.com/ site or not. I use the Isolyze protein.. it's great!! We also have an awesome omega product that has the proper amounts of all omegas in on capsule. You save money and have less pills to take. I plan on hopping up to at least 160 here in the next couple months... we'll see..I'm shooting for the end of Sept. Full big hard and complete!!! What else could I ask for??? Hey what do you guys think about the blonde curly hair. I had a suggestion to grow my hair out again to long and straight. Check out the pixs and let me know.

My site has been updated and I think my web master has come out of hiding. I hope you like the new galleries. We are working on the videos. If one of you computer geeks out there knows what is wrong with my videos, please email me so we can get something going. It seems like it should be so simple. I have professional video guys, or guys with professional cameras at least..lol and I have video on my camera... why can't I get it right on the site??

BTW I have a picture on page 64 of the September 2008 FLEX magazine...Hope you enjoy!

Again... thank you for your support... you are appreciated.

I am ready to go!!! My mom would say... " put me in coach, I'm ready to play!"

The Big Bang!!!

Dear Friends and Fans,

Yes it's me... I'm back. I would like to start by thanking all of my loyal supporters that have stuck it out through this slow period in regards to my site updates. I have been in the process of changing my computer systems around to be more efficient. My web masters not only do my site but run http://www.speciesnutrition.com/ which is off the hook right now and demanding alot of their time. We have plans on the new updates and refreshing the site. I appreciate your patience. I now have a functional lap top, and plan to check my site more often and respond to the comments that you all leave me on the blog. I named this The Big Bang because I'm about to explode into a more successful mode. I have training to do next week on some billing procedures then it's all up and away from there.

Although I hate to admit that I've been barely touching 150 these days... I'm excited with my look. My legs have taken on a new shape already. Big, full, thick, and defined. My package is evident even in the off season. I'm really concentrating on talking to my muscles as they work which allows me to be extremely specific. I feel and look strong. I have been working out at my house a lot and now with my laptop can bring you all with me as I pump it up in the dungeon. You'll have to come check it out on http://www.herbicepscam.com/ .

Maryjanes leg is not really getting any better. I'm going to have to break down and bring her back to the Vet. I've been considering getting her a play mate. Hopefully, someone will just find us. Ideally I would like a standard poodle. I always pictured my first dog being a standard, but my maryjane found me first, and I'm happy about that.

I've been in a bit of a slump in general. It seems like most people I talk to are in the same mind frame. I called it the June and July blues.... but my blues are all gone....lol.. for now. Now I'm anoxiously waiting the fall weather. I'm aboard and can see the Arnold in the distance.

Thank you again for all your support. It's all of you who make me a champion.

Calm Before The Storm

Dear Friends and Fans,

I know it has been awhile. I don't have like this huge amount of excitement going on right now, so hate to bore you with petty stuff. My work outs are coming along. I have been training my legs 3 days a week, I know they look better than they ever had. I see changes since the NY York Pro Show in May. I'm sculpting away at my calves and doing like upper body pump ups. I don't want to lose any size in my upper body, but I now can see how it just keeps getting bigger. I'm holding at a good 155. My body loves that weight. I hope to be able to carry at least 160 a good part of the off season, and still be hard and ripped. I need to be eating a tad bit more.... I get lazy at times in off season and just don't eat enough. Well, other than that... Maryjane's leg sucks... it's good one day and then bad the other. She has become a better weather barometer than my joints. We are working through it. We still get a walk once around the block 3 days.

I'm working on my business infrastructure right now. New computers, some other software training... I hope after all of this you will hear me stop complaining about my office efficiency and paperwork... YUCK!! the picture I picked was from John Nafpliotis after the NY Pro. The lighting was awesome. You'll have to check out the video of it. Hope you all are having a great summer!! Thank you for your support.

Large and In Charge!

Dear Friends and Fans,

I'm into my 2ND week of training now, and it feels awesome. I'm getting such a great response from my workouts. Each year it seems like everything just gets better and better. I can feel and control my contractions more than before, my muscles are getting huge pumps, the vascularity is here to stay; Veins popping out everywhere. I feel really strong, but I'm giving my joints a little more time before I stress them too much. I finally gave in and bought the Leg Magic. Yes,..lol.. the one you see on TV. I wanted that since I saw the infomercial. It works great for me. It's really going to help me shape my legs and hit that inner area I could never get to. It's so much fun. I'm like addicted to it. I do several sets of high reps daily.

I've been totally enjoying being out of the show mode. I look at myself and think I could be there again very easily, but I want to take time to better myself and really bring my best to the Arnold. I'm eating lots... making all kind of yummy foods. I do keep on my regular diet too... this is just extra food....LOL... I like that!!

The weather is finally coming around here. I've been laying out on the deck getting a good tan. Maryjane is making it once around the block a day with no problems. I can tell she has an issue, but we work within her limitations. She is happy to be back at it too.

I did a mini shoot with my friend Gary over the weekend. Some different stuff. We still need to work on the pixs some, but this is one I liked from the gym. Hope you're enjoying the spring; I like the green vegetation, pretty flowers, and the energy of everyone enjoying the day.

Back to Business

Dear Friends and Fans,

I hope you all have a great holiday weekend. I have been working my butt off the past 2 weeks. I took 2 weeks off from training, and one weekend was spent throwing mulch and planting flowers and this past weekend I moved my friend on Sat Sun and Monday, I went to her new home and loaded things in rooms, lots of stairs, and put the grill together. We then had people over and cooked at there new home. It was a blast. The picture here is from her balcony.

Yesterday, Tuesday, was my first day back at the gym.. chest and shoulders, those were the only body parts that didn't hurt from the move. I feel like I was hit by a truck today. My muscles are sore. I'm back to 155 and climbing, but still ripped and veiny. I have a shoot this coming weekend, so look out for some new a different stuff.

I have changed my work schedule around, so I'm working a lot of late weekdays.. I'm early to bed, early to rise, so I'm trying to figure out a happy medium here especially since the new schedule seems to work great.

I'm back in the gym again and stronger than ever. My shoulder is almost to 100%. I see a large and in charge Dr. sexy for the 2009 Arnold Classic, but first I need an invite..lol.

Have a wonderful week. The sun is finally out here. Spring is here!!

Refreshing The Love

Dear Friends and Fans,

I've had a great couple of weeks. The weather for the most part, has been absolutely beautiful. I have re arranged my work schedule which seems to really work well for me, but it is going to take sometime to get use to the extra work. The contiuous manual labor starts to take its toll my the end of day and week.

One of my BF's, Jillian, had a bday party last weekend; I took this picture that evening. I really don't have any plans for the Memorial Day weekend. I've been working in my yard and hope to plant some flowers and lay in the sun.

I'm starting to feel the love for, my boyfriend, Gym. I looked some pictures today that reminded of how happy I am with him in my life, how stimulated I feel eveytimne I leave his house, how secure and strong I feel from the mental and physical benifits I gain from commiting to a realtionship with him....I plan to start seeing him again on Tuesday. So next week it's..... back to the gym and refreshing the love.

I have to talk to Charles , the trainer of champions, but I think I'm going to do 3 short but heavy leg workouts a week and come up with a fun summer outdoors quad stimulating workout, like sprinting or even cycle sprinting. Cycle sprinters have massive quads. I have patients that race on a team and have asked me before to try it. It is dangerous.... have you seen those athletes' falls?? @#!*.

So in sum... I have commited to be more organized with the business aspect of my practice, and am doing it, made my schedule to maximize my time with patients, feeling the love for the gym again, yard nice and spring cleaning statred, Maryjanes leg will never be the same, but she feels better, which makes me happy. Now, as soon as someone can get rid of this damn Cardinal flying into my windows all day long, things couldn't be more perfect.

Thank you again and again for all your suport. We are going to be working on the video and other issues on the site. I've been promised. Have a great safe weekend!

4th Place!!!

Dear Friends and Fans,

Well, here I sit, still in New york, and it feeling like my first second to unwind. I just finished a photo with John Nafliotis. We had some Chinese for lunch, and I can't wait for Italian tonight. Joel has a place close by picked out. i would like nothing more than lounge around the house tonight. I leave tomorrow evening, I'm not sure what I want to do tomorrow. I'll probably think about it at dinner.

I really don't have much to say about the show . i think it's still the legs.. they keep getting better but still need more time. I was at my best. I couldn't have done anything different. This is purely a case of getting beat. When comparing contest histories of #1-#6, I feel honored to be mixed in that bunch. i will have galleries from the show on the site shortly. You can see more pix on http://www.musculardevelopment.com/ .

As only the top 3 :( qualified for the Olympia, I plan to lay low for a bit. I plan to apply for an invite to the 2009 Arnold Classic. I will have plenty of time to make the improvements I need, or at least make improvements. Also, I will be working on the much needed improvements in the video portion of this site..I have not forgotten you my fans.

Moment Of Truth

Dear Friends and Fans,

Well the time has come to shine. It is Wednesday evening, I have 2 coats of color on and my packing is about finished. Wendi will come over 2 more times tomorrow to apply more color to my body. Thursday is my last day; I have to get to bed early and leave the house by 4:30 am on Friday. Joel will pick me up from the airport, and Beth Roberts will be my "bag bitch" meaning she is there to help with whatever I need, color, food prep, etc. I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be a great time.

I must say that this is definitely the best I have looked. I'm full, ripped and heavy. I've been working on my presentation hard for the past 5 weeks. I plan to bring a package that you can't take your eyes off. That's my goal!!!

I would like to personally thank all of you who have been there supporting me, and encouraging me through some tough times this year. A special thank you to all of members and trainers of West County Health & Fitness for their love, wishes and goodies. The Nuckoll's Family, Patty, Brian, Wendi, Jillian& Jason, Dave, Charles, Joel and my family for helping me in one way or another make this weekend happen.

I will be spending Monday morning shooting for my website and playing around in New York til my plane leaves on Tuesday. I hope it will be back to the drawing board for me. I just found out that the top 5 will qualify for the Ms. Olympia, this is going to be a tough crowd.... cross your fingers for a top 5 placing for me. I will do my best to get pixs up and update the blog with info about the outcome of the Show. I'm sure you will be able to find out some stuff too at http://www.musculardevelopment.com/. The show is called the 2008 New York Pro Show.

I work on my hands, feet and face the night before the show this way I can move through the airport not looking too strange.. It doesn't help though... I still get stares...lol but I don't like to have it on my face for days and it will start to look bad and if I have it on hands and feet they get washed and covered all the time and rubs off on everything... so I save it for last and that is why it may look strange in the picture.

Send me your pump ups!!! XOXO

PaPa.. My #1 Fan RIP April 29, 2008

Dear Friends and Fans,

Well this week has been challenging to say the least. My PaPa came back from the hospital and on Monday evening he fell asleep in his lazy boy forever. He was my #1 fan. He loved my bodybuilding. My pictures hung all over his home. My cousin says it's like a shrine..lol. PaPa would love for me to walk ahead of him so he could see peoples reactions to me. He loved it. He would walk up to anyone and say " that's my granddaughter." At 80 years old, PaPa drove all the way from Florida to Missouri to watch me graduate from Logan Chiropractic College. It relieves me to no end that a hard life lead to a peaceful death. One thing I KNOW is that both NaNa and PaPa left thinking I was the best thing in the world and that warm comfort will always be there. PaPa was 85 years old.

So, I'm 1 week out of the NY pro show. I very pleased with my look thus far. I look my best yet. Big, hard, full. I was still 145 yesterday AM. I haven't weighed yet today. I don't see any reason I shouldn't be able to show at 142. I really cut back on the patient load this last week. I have so much little prep things to do that really go unnoticed. Here is how I'm planning things out... Today, Saturday, Patty and I are going accessory shopping. A couple of things on the list are purse, ear rings, hair product, make up. Monday is manicure/pedicure and shave my entire body.. fun!@#%. Tuesday is hair day. I hate hair day. I'm way too hyper to sit in that damn chair so long. It drives me crazy, and by Tue... AHHH I'll be crazy! LOL. I may apply 1 coat of color Tue nite. I have to talk to Wendi my color specialist, but Wednesday is 2 coats of color, Thursday 2 coats of color. My plane leaves 6am on Friday. On top of all of this.. I have to prep and pack necessary foods, pack clothes and everything for show, with out missing a thing. Now Keep in mind.. this is in addition to cardio, posing, and some pump up. By this time I probably look like and slug dragging 2 large suite cases and a cooler. But, all I have to do is make it that far... Joel will be at the airport with curb sided service and the ROCK STAR style begins.. LOL I'm just playing, but not. I have good people on my team that are there to cater to me. It's very nice. I don't take advantage though.. I appreciate you all.

I wanted to put a picture of me a PaPa here with this blog.. but I will put one up with a blog when I get color on this week. Have a great weekend!

WE TV

Dear Friends and Fans,

Thank you to all who watched the program last night. I appreciate all your emails and support. Hello and welcome to all the new fans I may have gained from the show. I was happy with the way I was presented and the attitude of the whole program. I hope there will be more to come.

I'm 2.5 weeks from the NY Pro show. Things are coming together nicely. I woke up at 146 lbs this morning which is pretty heavy for me. I'm still losing fat and staying full and hard. No matter what.. I can see the changes for the better. I really haven't been writing much because I feel like all I do is complain when it gets close to the show. I'm tired and way to tired to do any extra talking. I just found out that there are no props allowed at the show, so I now have to make up another routine. The one I was going to do only fit with the props I had. Maryjanes leg is terrible again. I've been doing cardio walks without her, and its been lonely. I have NEVER done this walk with out her. It really isn't the same and I miss my pacesetter. I use to enjoy the walks because she did. Its depressing. She may need surgery. My grandfather has a very bad illness and is in the hospital and of course.. it never fails before a show.. I think I may have a tooth issue. Oh, my sink is leaking and my dishwasher broke, so.... all of that I'm holding together.

My goals by the weekend are to have my new routine finished, lots of laundry, clean my car and caulk my bath tub.. and call the handyman to help me with my sink. Get to the dentist!!!! The picture I posted is from over the weekend at 3 weeks out. I still need to tighten up the glutes and lower back. I'm much learner today than this picture.. so things are good.

I started using this FIBROLYZE Dave's new fiber product. I never need a fiber supplement. I didn't like Metamucil, so never use fiber. I decided to try this product because my stomach felt weird. OMG!!! This stuff is amazing. I look forward to it everyday. I like it because it taste good and I can use it as a filler when I'm hungry. The health benefits to using a fiber supplement are amazing. We can talk about them later or look it up. The website to the fiber is http://www.speciesnutrtion.com/. I also use the lipolyze, somalyze, isolyze. At the moment my diet consists of 24 egg whites ( 12 am/12pm), 2 chicken meals with salad or broccoli, 2 white fish meals with salad or broccoli. Exciting huh!@#? I'm really going to try to cut out my coffee a week before the show. It's not the coffee it's what I put in it..lol. I would rather not drink it if I can't put my non dairy creamer in it.. well that has like 3g of carbs / tsp.. I won't admit to how much my 1 serving size is, but it's a bit more..lol. Charles and Dave both say to get rid of the gum... alcohol sugars.. and Dave says it put excess gas in the stomach. I need some damn vise..lol.. I may try the gum thing.. not promising.

I would like to thank my good friends Jillian and Jason for having me over to watch the show. I enjoyed sitting around with a couple of friends watching their reactions to seeing me on TV. To me we are all on a friend level.. I never realize how proud my friends are of me. Thank you all for making me feel WONDERFUL!! XO

Crack The 8 Pack!!

Dear Friends and Fans,

Sorry I have been away for a bit. I've had to spend lots of time on getting my routine down with the whole prep thing. It's difficult to find time to get everything in. I thought my life was busy before. My physique is coming along nicely. I'm impressed with how full I still am... I will leave you with the competitor list.. I need to as big and full as possible. My works have changed a bit to the hold and squeeze. I get a really good pump and then hold it there for a couple of seconds. My object is to stimulate the small fibers with in the muscle bellies as this is where I will get a lot of my detail. Detail work and lots of posing and tons of cardio.

For those of you who were wondering about Maryjane.. her legs are much better. She has arthritis in her knees. I had to give her some anti inflammatories and they seem to help. We are going on our second trial walk today.

I have to keep myself motivated right now. It always gets to the point where you wonder why your doing this. It's a tough job! Keep up your support. I need all the support from my fans right now. Its you who reminds me why I do this. XOXO

Spring is Here!

Dear Friends and Fans,

I hope you all enjoyed the spring holiday. I got snow on Easter Sunday.. It was great. The sun came out and warmed the day up. I love the longer days and am definitely looking forward to the warmer weather.

I'm 7 weeks out of the New York Pro Show May 10Th. I actually weighted 150.3 before I sat down to write. I feel real full today, but it's a compact feeling. I'm very happy with the way I look right now. I'm hard and full, my legs have made improvements. I can feel it in my clothes and when I touch them. I feel lumps and bumps I haven't before. I'm hitting my mandatories 3 rounds/ day. My work outs are great pumps and very focused. It's like I can control every muscle. My triceps and calves are really round and hard. Both have striations and shape that's new. these 2 were accessory parts I had plan to slowly work on. Well, it seems to have paid off some. I'm really working on keeping my legs full but stimulated. I don't want to lose any size while I diet. My waist is so tiny, for me..lol, I love to just wrap my hands around it and flare my lats.

I'm having to watch my time management closely. It gets hard to juggle everything once the posing and extra cardio comes in and hogs up a couple hours a day. My business , of course, is off the hook. It never fails that when I get close to a show patients come piling in. The REAL hard thing is that Patients take Patience. I'm hanging in there. I feel strong and look better than I ever have.. What else could I ask for??... Continued good health.. how's that?! I ask the same for all of you.

I have a little info on the television series I will be featured on WETV, Women's Entertainment, the link here is to the whole series. It has several segments. Video and trailers are on this link. keep checking it for times the bodybuilders are coming on, or just watch them all. It looks really neat. Check it out and let me know what you think. www.wetv.com/shows/secretlives . Thank you for all your support.

Better Than Ever!

Dear Friends and Fans,

I stripped down and went through a bunch of my poses before I sat down here to tell you how awesome my physique is looking. Yeah its all still there...lol. I hopped on the scale @ 148 and that was on an empty stomach, which means by the end of the day I'm still holding on @ 150. I'm big, full, hard and ripped. I need to hold this look; I think that will be the challenge. I've never been in this shape this far out. I'm slowly doing cardio to save my legs. I tell people it's like being a rotisserie chicken... I slowly cook everything off, but save the juicy meat!!! LOL. My shoulder is better but not 100% which leaves me staying away from heavy dumbell presses, so I concentrate on really pumping up my chest up with cables and machines. I love to do the cables from down low which allows me to really work those striations along the sternum... peeling them out!! I'm still training legs 3 times a week. Heavy pull day, heavy push day, and an isolation day... it really seems to be keeping my legs full and defined. I have been working on slimming my waist since 2005... its 2" smaller... it would be nice to bring in a 22" waist.. my lats are flowing.. abs chiseled to the bone as usual.. what else can I say..LOL My brother -in-law would say how can you fit through the door with that head.. He's just playing though.. I'm really not that vain.. I don't think.. I ... I....I! OOps.... sorry.

Well started my fat burners.. I've been using lioplyze and somalyze from http://www.speciecnutrition.com/. They are kickin!!! They use a different fat burning process which gives you no jitters, headache or irritability and the Somalyze is a natural sleeping aid that allows you to burn fat while you sleep. What else can you ask for??

My goals for the week are to starting fitting mandatory posing into my everyday schedule. The aerobics room is open from 4-5 everyday, so I go in a try to take advantage of that time... I plan to call http://www.ccfitwear.com/ my suit girl, Caroline, to work out my ideas with her. I plan to contact Women's Entertainment TV and try to get more info on channels and times for the show.

All is well! Thank you for all your support. Hope you like the progression pixs up. I call them mug shots. I just take them for Dave.. I don't worry about trying to make my hair and face perfect.. He's just looking at my body. Occasionally he requests that I tan , so I stop blinding him.. but I've kept up this year after all that natural sun from Florida. The pix here I took for my blog last week that I didn't get to.

Back In The Saddle Again!

Dear Friends and Fans,

Well, I hit my goal.I gave myself 2 weeks to get my weight up to 150. All the stuff that went on in Feb. caused me to drop to a ripped 142. I looked awesome, but had 12weeks left to the show. I hope to compete at 142 or close to it. I figured if I got to 150 and held it till about 3 weeks out I could go in nice and full. I'm still pretty lean, so my objective is to slowly work on my conditioning with light cardio and keep my weight up. Hopefully being this lean @ 150 will allow me to use less cardio and save my legs.

I've been getting great workouts in my basement. It feels so powerful to be sitting down in my work shop, sculpting my body. Its awesome... this lifestyle, if people really knew the behind the scenes to what it really takes to maintain a body like this. The training, posing, diet, rest... every second I have those things on my mind.

The diet is on, my shoulder is almost better, I'm getting great pumps, my physique has made improvements... I'm good to Go !! The picture is from my back work out yesterday.

Thank you again for all your support.

A New Chapter Begins

Dear Friends and Fans,

I had a lot of anxiety about my original trip to Florida. I was headed home after 6 years of being away. I wondered to my life coach if this was the beginning or the ending of a chapter of my life. He says it could be both, but I don't see it that way. It has to be black or white!!! I choose these past 3 weeks to be an introduction into the next chapter of my life.

I left for Fort Meyers Jan. 30Th to visit my oldest sister and her family. I met my nephew right before I left six years ago , he was an infant, and my niece... never! I was looking forward to seeing how they reacted to me. We had a blast! Went swimming and goofed around.they were so sweet, lots of cuddles. XOXOXO!!! We all packed up and headed for St. Petersburg for my youngest sister's wedding. She had a beautiful sunset wedding, and we danced like rock stars at the reception. Everyone had a great time. My grandfather was cutting a rug!! LOL. I spent the next 4 days with my mother on Pass-A-Grille Beach. We talked, and tanned on her porch. I visited with family, trained SOME, but the days went fast. Sunday before I left ,I went to the Bon Aire where my good friend "Philly" tends bar. Me, Philly, and my sissy had a blast laughing and being stupid. It's kinda funny... My sister's new husband ,Pete, was a bit upset with us because we were out playing and he didn't want me to miss my plane. He was driving me to the airport. The 3 of us giggled and talked about their upcoming honeymoon to Tennessee, to see snow... leave it to the Floridians to find the perfect place for snow.. LOL. Well ,I was early for the plane..LOL, and made it home with intentions to get PUMPED for my upcoming show May 10th. 4 days later my sister called me from the cabin, crying, and asking me to come back home. I got to her house before she did. Thank god she was there with 2 other couples, they were all best friends. They packed Melissa up and drove her back to Florida. In a nutshell here is what happened... They were in TN for 3 hours.. enough time to unpack, grab a cocktail, and head down on the Gondola for a nice dinner. Pete only made it half way down. He suffered from a pulmonary embolism. Not much could have been done for him. It was the longest ride of all o f their lives!!! Pete was 41 years old. He had by pass surgery 1.5 years ago. My sister is 35. She is coming around. Thank you for all your prayers. Me and my family greatly appreciate it. Melissa is taking it one day at a time... and is experiencing textbook mourning. I would like to personally thank Melissa's support system. She really has great friends. The men of the bunch all stood up and took care of things that to tell you the truth.. I couldn't do. The arrangements, and finalization stuff... OMG!!! No one was ready for this!! Everyone pulled together. It was hard for me, to train and keep on my diet. Her friends and families all made food and had get togethers. I never realized how important these things were to people in this situation. I guess I never thought it matters, well IT DOES. I'm really going to change some of my ways.

I did take some time to myself. It's not easy lying around with someone in mourning. My goal was to watch the sunset every night. It was beautiful!! The weather was perfect everyday. I walked to the Don Cesar and back every morning... it equals 3 miles... in flip flops. my leg, calfs and glutes were hard pumped. It felt great the hot sun on my back and body... OOOOH a feeling I miss!

So, how this is the beginning of a new chapter in my life... I gained new self respect. I was feeling like my life here was becoming to hectic and a hassle.. to much work for one person. After going back to my roots, I've realized the empire I've built for myself. All the hard work and life I built for myself became accentuated in my mind. I was geared to come home and really work hard at my practice and get motivated in the gym. I've been back a week today, and have managed to grab on to 6 lbs. My shoulder is almost to 100%. I'm big, full yet ripped. I want to hold my weight as long as possible. It's funny.. most are the other way around. I have to keep the body fat low by slowly starting light cardio. I've never been in such a good position. I'm going to continue to keep my muscles pumped and hard. I have my posing music and am working on my routine. I'm feeling strong... I look forward to bringing in a tight symmetrical package.

The picture is from my moms back yard.

Thank you again for all your support. I do appreciate you all. I'm getting to my emails today too, so you should hear from me shortly if you have not been answered.

May He Rest In Peace!

Dear Friends and Fans,

I would like you all to say a prayer for my sister and our family tonight. My sister got married at sunset Friday.... Her husband died tonight. Pete was a wonderful person, and took very good care of my sister. He is loved and will be missed dearly. I pray my sister can rise above!
My regular blog with my training journal and my trip report to Florida seem unimportant right now but I will write again shortly

Homeward Bound

Dear Friends and Fans,

Well the time has come.... for me to return to my roots. I haven't been back to Florida since 2002. No particular reason except for life and running a business. It is a bit nerve racking though returning to something that is now something different. I have changed, Florida has changed.... all for the better. I will stop off and visit my older sister and her family for a couple of days and then we will all head off to St. Pete Bch. for my younger sister's wedding. It will be nice. She is getting married at sunset. I will take some beautiful sunset pictures. I miss watching the sun kiss the water.

The New York Pro show ,May 10th, is really getting packed with quailty. It will be a very tough show. I plan to train at my old gym while in Florida, and of course keep up my cardio up on the beach, but when I get back it will be 14 weeks of crunch time. I can tell my shape is different, I just have to stay hard and full. I'm working hard at getting my 6 meals in. 2 (16/day)egg meals, 2 chicken meals, 2 shakes and all with carbs. It's hard at times to get that in.

I hurt my shoulder boxing a couple weeks ago, so I've had to take it easy on my chest and shoulders again!! It's feel a lot better and I hope with the trip to Florida it can have some rest from adjusting. Charles and I will get together and put my workout plan together once I get back. I'm sure we will be focusing on back and legs; the 2 things to give me flare.

I goofed around with a Valentine's Day shoot the other weekend. We will have the update up closer to the day, but here is a little sample.

Thank you so much for your support. Keep pushing me to be the best I can be!!

Straight Out of The Hatch!

Dear Friends and Fans,

I must say that the new year has been great so far. My business is really getting some organization. I find that it gives me organization all over. At times, I get a chance to sit back and look inside to really see what all I'm doing. I think I'm doing damn good!! It's not easy to hold up the world, but I'm doing it!!

I've been back in close touch with the 2 sculptors behind my physique, Dave and Charles. I'm just full, strong, positive and ready to go. I've been pulling my diet together.. that for me means getting back to eating 6 meals a day. I've been doing it and it really shows. I took this picture here at the gym on Friday. You can see I have full hard muscles. I'm really excited to see what I can bring to the stage. I'm looking forward to the open class. Species nutrition has been a great sponsor in such a short time. Dave really has it going on over there. I'm looking forward to being part of something great!

I'm hoping to get to Indy to see barry Brooks before I leave for Florida. I then plan to be doing mainly pre contest footage and shoots. the video quality on the new updates will be better soon. We have a bit of a problem with the size.. please hang in there. I'm hoping to get a vidoe shoot in with Awefilms and WPW this year too, most likely before the May 10th New york show. Lots going on. I'm ready. Oh, one more thing... next week I start boxing with my friend Gary. Tuesdays at 5 he is going to come hold my targets and call my combos. Soon I will have video out of me throwing some POWERFUL punches!! I'm so psyched!!! I can't wait to explode in 2008. "Year of The Dena".

" Year of The Dena"

Dear Friends and Fans,

LOL... I like this title! My manager says "it's year of the Dena" I asked him if he meant hyena..lol. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, and I wish you the best in 2008! Thank you so much for your support, and for making 2007 a break through year in regards to my site and your excitement with Dr. Sexy. Well, I must admit that the last 2 weeks of the year were a different experience for me. First of all, I had way too much time on my hands! I had to take off a bunch of days just because of the holidays and patients desire to shop and spend time with family, 2 things I don't do much of..lol. I also got an overdose of my female hormones that left me feeling every particle in the air...OMG! I was a mess, and then to just sit around and feel all of this stuff was, to tell the truth, painful!! Blah that is gone.. I've now sealed the 2007 envelope. On we go!

I get to start off my 2008 with a trip back home to see my family, and attend my youngest sister's wedding. I have not been home since 2000. I'm sure my mother will be a puppy in the window. I am looking forward to seeing my family, and spending my time at the beach.. I'm good at that. I'll see if the ground still stomps like it use to. I'll be heading into February full speed with the May 10th NY Pro show in my eye. I will be competing as a Species Nutrition athlete, http://www.speciesnutrition.com/ , this is my diet guru's company and my NEW sponsor... http://www.davepalumbo.com/ . I will be talking more about the products and how I use them personally. You can also check out the athlete profiles on the Species website. My bodybuilding goals for 2008 are as follows... well ultimately ending in an Arnold invite for 2009. I would like to apply for this show with a higher placing that my last show which was 4th place at the 2007 Europa. The IFBB has gone back to an open class which means everyone competes together and the top 3 will go to the Ms. Olympia. If I get my way, I will be headed for the Olympia for a 2nd go round in 2008. I'm sure tthe NY show is going to be packed...and packed with a lot of girls coming off the 2008 Arnold classic in March. Not sure how to look at that.. but I know that for some reason I haven't really peaked the last 2 times. In my mind, they are looking for a look. I strongly feel I have a look. I just have to make sure I don't get overlooked. My competition is me, yet how am I going to pull it together while continuing to grow my practice and have more responsibilities? I will have to bring out my focus power and drive it!! I hope to slide in at 143-145 lb, this will be my heaviest weight on stage. It'll be going to 2.5 years with my team of the 2 best in the sport, Dave and the "Trainer of Champions" Charles Glass! The 2 of them will uplift me.

I would like to say a special thank you to Joel Goldberg ( my manager), and Colette Nelson ( my webmaster) for their hard work on my site and really making it something to be proud of. They make it easy for me to stay close to you..My Fans.. I will keep you updated on the WE TV show I will be featured on in February. May all your dreams come true.
